AP World History Review

What is a Review?

You read the textbook, and you take the notes. But sometimes don't you wish you had everything in a simpler format, maybe all condensed in one place so that you can have a quick review before a quiz or a test? Or maybe you wanted to make sure that you've covered all the key concepts. A review allows you to do that.

Below are links leading to online sources of chapter reviews for AP World History

The Earth and Its Peoples 4th edition
Outlines from Course-Notes

Resource Review:

This is one of the two outlines offered in course-notes.org. From personal experience, it is recommended that you use the other set of outlines for World Civilizations, as many students usually use course-notes.org for its condensed outlines. This set of outlines for The Earth and its Peoples is less condensed and more in the form of notes, something that would not be useful right before a test. However, given the more details, these outlines provides more detail, though as AP World History is a course with much information to cover, the notes often go beyond the required amount.

World Civilizations, the Global Experience 4th edition Outlines

Resource Review:

I have long been a fan of course-notes.org, especially because of their condensed reviews. While I write out the outlines for each book myself, it can be seen that they sometimes contain too much information (though necessary information) to cover, especially when you have a quiz the next morning, for example.

For these reasons, I recommend using course-notes reviews for a condensed version of each chapter (though they often miss out some necessary information)
